Colorado is under a “Winter Storm Warning” this weekend so it’s perfect weather to take a three-day League of American Bicyclists instructor course, don’t you think? Good, because that’s exactly what Clay and I are going to do.
But last weekend the weather was so warm, I busted out my paint brush and finished up a project left over from last fall on Sundown the sailboat. It felt good to wrap that up so I can start cleaning and painting a new section of the boat the next chance I get.
While I was painting, Clay worked on more wiring and situated our new Vestas hot water heater in the aft cabin. Once the installation is finished, I’ll upload photos; I love how shiny and new it looks!
But in the meantime, we’re gearing up for 24 hours of biking fun, including a night ride this evening and parking lot skills drills on Saturday and Sunday. I think we should get extra credit if we successfully complete the drills in six to 12 inches of snow!
