Clay and I are celebrating our 12-year anniversary today. In some ways it feels like we got married only a couple years ago. In another, it seems we’ve always been together. Either way, it’s all great!
Twelve years ago, we spent our wedding night at an inn in Granby and sailed on Lake Granby the next day. We pulled a bottle of champagne in our wake and enjoyed a blissful day in Colorado’s mountains.
We spent today grinding out and filling crazing on our own sailboat’s deck, still preparing it for new gelcoat. At lunchtime, we took the dinghy (okay, it was really our Toyota Tundra, but we can pretend, can’t we?) to the grocery store and bought a picnic lunch, which we brought back to the boat and ate belowdecks out of the hot sun. Cheers to many more anniversaries on Sundown!
Congrats you guys! — David and Becky =)
Thank you, Dave and Becky!
Better late than never!!! Congratulations!!!! A wonderful life this far–and lots more super duper stuff ahead!
